Able Receives FAA Approval for Bell 407 Tail Rotor Drive Shaft
Answers industry demand for critical PMA part solution
MESA, AZ (Oct. 29, 2014) – The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded Able Aerospace approval of a new tail rotor output shaft replacement part (PMA) for the Bell 407 aircraft. The FAA approved PMA option continues Able’s response to industry demand and further expands its deep bench of safe and reliable Bell 407solutions.

The tail rotor output shaft (Able part number 4AA-040-416-103) is part of the tail rotor gearbox assembly. It replaces Bell part number 407-040-416-103. Able replacement parts are immediately available at a HUGE savings. Combined with Able’s other PMA and repair solutions, the new FAA approved part option provides operators with a one stop, single source for continuing to drive down the cost of Bell 407 maintenance.
