Rotor and fixed wing operators along with maintenance facilities have traditionally replaced damaged/worn aircraft components with new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) spares.
Without competitive alternative sources of spare parts, OEM components were sold at a premium price. Obviously, these inflated spares costs worked to drive up the direct operating costs (DOC's) of the industry's products. Able Aerospace is an FAA approved Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) provider and its components provide a lower cost alternative.
Our experienced technical staff works in conjunction with the FAA to design, substantiate, test and obtain approval for PMA components. These FAA approved components provide alternatives to OEM new and the advantage needed to compete in today's lean market.
